"When we first started dating, I was already teaching while he was still in school.

One day, we were at Starbucks. I was marking. He was studying.

At that time, he was using this pencil case no bigger than 2 regular sized Toblerone bars put together. It could barely hold more than 10 stationery items.

It was a wooden pencil box that came with a sliding lid. Think measuring tape. That's how the lid would come off.

The lid also doubled up as a chalk board and in his pencil case, was a tiny white chalk shorter than my smallest toe (or what one of my ex-students called, foot finger).

I drew/wrote on that lid: (Clock) WAITS 4 NO (Stickman)

On hindsight, I don't think anything in particular urged me to write that.

Who knew that years down the road, it would play a part in a milestone of our lives together."

You know what’s the best part of my job? I get to take pictures of smiling people, laughing people, crying people and there are a lots of them. My feet might be sore and back might feel like it’s going to break, but I always go home from a wedding feeling so much joy. To witness their happiness, to watch the tears fall down of sheer happiness.

I really feel grateful and fills my soul. I am very grateful that there has been so many of intimate weddings and I’m just glad that I have the privileged to capture it. There are many reasons to have a more intimate and personalised wedding, one of the best reason would probably be being surrounded by your closest and dearest.

Deyao & Sherlyn, they always give me a very intimate feeling and I really love their energy. They seems less stressed, the looks on the faces seemed more real. Like the glow comes straight out of their hearts. Thank you for having faith in both @freshfromkenneth and myself, and thank you for putting your trust in our craft. And thank you for being my friends since the day i started, you two have been the pillar I've been leaning on all these years. I'm ever grateful for your friendship. Happy wedding Anniversary!
